People who are new to the field of housekeeping usually ask what a housekeeper duty is all about. In a simpler description, it is the responsibility of cleaning and maintaining the interior of a house.

When the term housekeeper is coined, the reference is directed to female domestic helpers. On the other hand, male house help are commonly known as houseboys or housecleaners.
